“Our inspirational Master Blender Andres developed our unique whisky-making process ‘Elemental Ageing’. By maturing our casks in repurposed shipping containers, we have the freedom to put them in different places where they are exposed to the extremes of the Canadian wilderness.
Using 3 different types of oak casks (American, French & Hungarian) and harnessing the rhythm of the seasons, our whisky is transformed by its time in the wild. From freezing 1°F cold to searing 120°F heat, the temperatures can fluctuate wildly in a single day under steel.
When nature has done its work, our Master Blender selects the best barrels and blends them to create each unique batch of BEARFACE. “

There is no shelf life for our whisky
BEARFACE One Eleven Oaxaca and BEARFACE Wilderness 1.0 Matsutake are no longer available to purchase.
BEARFACE is wild made whisky, it is born in the wild and takes on characteristics from its time aging in the extreme temperature of the Canadian wilderness. This is our elemental aging process where we expose casks to temperature fluctuation to create a uniquly bold yet smooth flavour finish. Once the casks are ready they are then blended by season to create the flavour profile of BEARFACE by our inspirational master distiller Andres Faustinelli.
BEARFACE is available in two sizes; 750ml and 700ml bottles. The size of the bottle available is based on geographic location.
BEARFACE The Wilderness Series Matsutake Release 01 was available in Canada but is currently very hard to find. There will be some further releases of this coming to the US later this year, keep an eye on our social channels to hear more.

We proudly source the finest single-grain whisky from world class distilleries to provide us with the foundation to our whisky. We then elementally age and blend it at our BEARFACE wilderness home in Canada.

There is no artificial sweetener added to BEARFACE Whisky.
There are no sulfites in BEARFACE Whisky
BEARFACE Whisky is 42.5% ABV therefore the calories assocaited with a 1.5 Oz measure is 107 calories.
BEARFACE triple oak and our limited edition wilderness series are 42.5% ABV.
BEARFACE Whisky is a 100% corn single grain Canadian whisky however malted barley is used in the process. Therefore it is not gluten free.
This is not a flavoured whisky but a blend between Ex Sherry finished whisky, Ex Red Wine finished whisky and less than 9.09% whisky that has been put in contact / infused with Matsutake (Pine) Mushrooms.. The base ingredient for the whisky is corn.
The ingredients is corn with the difference being that the water conponent partially coming from distilled water from the process of smoking sea salt. There are no added Salt or other ingredients.
